Class One's beautiful flower pictures

Class One have been very busy this week creating these flower master pieces.

Some were painted and some were collages. Some used both techniques together.

They are all fantastic.

Class 4 Science comics! Pow! Fizz!

Here is a sample of some of the comics that Class 4 have been making this week. They have worked really hard and the task was made more difficult because the pupils were required to try to teach a scientific concept in their comic strips! Here is 'Solids, liquids and gas':

Germs and microbes....
Teeth!

Healthy and unhealthy lifestyles.....

Magnets!

As soon as the pupils have had a good chance to read (and learn the scientific concepts) the comics they will be available to view as part of a classroom display! Please drop by and have a look.

Sewing skills!

Need a safe and stylish way to store your i-pod? Look no further than Class 3. The children have eached designed and made a container to store something of value.

Whether it's your money, jewels or even your missing teeth - we have a container to suit every purpose!

The sewing skills are pretty impressive, we have all tried to make our stitches as small and as even as possible. Smaller stitches are stronger!

More pictures to follow as more projects are completed. Let us know which is your favourite!

Stanleys, Stanleys everywhere!

Playing with faces

Following Picasso's example,
we decided to experiment with faces. We all drew the features of a face, (two eyes, a nose, two ears, a mouth) then cut these up into pieces. We then swapped our pieces and constructed new faces from the pieces we had collected. We think the experiment worked, but what do you think?
